With more than 15 years of firsthand legal expertise and a background as a business owner and operator, Michael possesses a distinct vantage point that enables him to adeptly address a wide spectrum of both legal and business challenges. His professional pursuits revolve around the realms of real estate development, alongside comprehensive engagement in real estate and business transactions.

He is an accomplished attorney with a proven track record managing teams and executing complex projects in both entrepreneurial and structured corporate environments. He has outstanding business acumen with an expertise in real estate, contracts and M&A. He is extremely ethical, and a strategic thinker with powerful communication skills. Michael negotiated business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and other business and real estate transactions of up to $30 million in value.

Christopher is the Director of Operations with Clarity Tenant Representation. Chris plays a pivotal role at Clarity TR by delivering comprehensive administrative oversight, encompassing a diverse array of responsibilities. These encompass but are not limited to, skillful management of intricate databases, meticulous handling of corporate licensing matters, and diligent upkeep of transactional paperwork records. He’s a proud George Mason University alumnus, with an academic journey that has equipped him with the tools needed to excel in the dynamic landscape of administrative functions. His educational background serves as a testament to his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Chirs resides in Fairfax, VA with his wife and 3 children.

Ashley is a Senior Associate with Clarity Tenant Representation. Ashley brings her expertise to Clarity TR, backed by several years of skillful project management experience. Her versatile background encompassing start-ups, studio production, and engagement in her family-owned business positions her as an asset across various facets of Clarity TR’s operations. This inherent adaptability significantly bolsters her capacity to seamlessly assist Clarity TR’s clients.

Ashley provides support to the brokerage and operations teams, helping to deliver an exceptional level of service to clients and a knack for excelling in fast-paced, outcome-driven environments that value personal connections. She’s tasked with overseeing client accounts, following up on leads, and helping to execute marketing strategies.

Having spent nine years in Colorado due to her husband’s active military duty, Ashley is no stranger to adaptability and resourcefulness.  This phase was characterized by the allure of high-altitude sunshine, exhilarating snowboarding escapades amidst the picturesque Rocky Mountains, and the delights of exploring local breweries.

From the time Ashley arrived in the D.C. area in 2021, she has delved into the diverse array of experiences the city presents. Her proficiency, along with her skill in engaging with clients, harmonizes perfectly with Clarity TR’s purpose and dedication to remarkable real estate undertakings.

Jake is a Partner with Clarity Tenant Representation. Jake specializes in representing local tenants across the D.C. region, helping clients compete effectively in a market often dominated by multinational tenants and institutional landlords. Since entering the commercial real estate industry, Jake has established himself as a top performing tenant rep broker. Known for uncovering off-market opportunities, negotiating exceptional lease terms, and consistently delivering results that exceed client expectations. Jake’s competitive edge was first forged on the football field, where he advanced from Division III Shenandoah University to play professionally in the NFL, XFL, and AFL.

That same work ethic, discipline, and drive to outperform now fuel his success in real estate. His approach is grounded in preparation, hustle, and a refusal to accept second best – qualities that resonate deeply with clients navigating complex decisions in a highly competitive market.

Jim is a Partner with Clarity Tenant Representation. Since 2004, Jim has been specializing in commercial leasing, sales, and complex real estate transactions in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. market (DC, MD, VA – DMV), with a focus on tenant representation and private client sales. Because of his experience in both law and business, he brings a unique, multidisciplinary approach to a field that requires a broad range of expertise to be successful. Jim’s clients include law firms and lobbyists, technology firms, cannabis companies, healthcare providers, corporations, and consulting firms.

Jim’s practice includes office, retail, and industrial leasing and sales. Most recently, Jim has established himself as the preeminent broker in the DC Metro region for cannabis companies, having helped in the acquisition of dispensaries, processing facilities, and cultivation facilities.

Consistent with Clarity TR’s focus on local, DMV-area companies, Jim loves to work with entrepreneurs and understands what’s important to them. Jim was a co-founder of Northern Virginia’s first cannabis company and also recently co-founded the DMV’s first independent portable self-storage company, SpaceMaker Mobile Storage.

Perhaps most importantly, with his legal background, Jim brings superior transaction analysis and a keen sense of fiduciary responsibility to his role as a tenant rep broker.
